The Glycaemic Index Diet
The gi index weight loss regime is based around the gi (or glycaemic index), a chart showing foods and an indicator of the rapidity with which the glucose of the food type gets transformed to sugar in the dieters bloodstream. The claim is that slow release types of food (ie those food types with a low Glycaemic score), suppress your appetite and help to consume fewer food without being miserabl;e.
It is also very beneficial for folk with diabetes, as the low GI food types are beneficial in managing increases in blood glucose levels.
