The Glycaemic Index Diet
The glycaemic index weight loss regime is linked to the gi (or glycaemic index), a chart showing types of food and a score illustrating the rapidity with which the carbs in the food type gets transformed to sugar in your bloodstream. The claim is that slow acting types of food (ie with a low Glycaemic index score), keep you satisfied for a longer period of time and help you to take in fewer food without starving yourself.
It's also extremely efficient for diabetics, as the low GI foods are useful in preventing rises in blood sugar levels.
